Maileg Mouse HouseDesign by: Maileg, DenmarkMaileg is a danish design brand of contemporary interior lifestyle concepts established in 1999 by Dorthe and Erik Mailil. Dorthe is a graphic designer from The Danish Design School with studies at the E´cole D´art de Marseille in France and previous stays with creative work in Paris. The authenticity that underlines Dorthe Mailil´s touch has also made her well known as a graphic designer for both books and magazines. Dorthe Mailil´s design has among others been presented at Louvre, Paris – Caixa Forum, Barcelona and Museum of Modern Art in New York. This imaginative wooden mouse "dolls house" was nominated for the Formland Design Award a few years ago and feature some lovely little details. The arched doorway has a little door bell and crocheted welcoming doormat, alongside quirky and humorous details such as a sliding roof design based on the look of a swiss cheese. A perfect home for your mouse family, the house also includes a rug, chair and a table. Tthe chair and table is a ribbon reel and there is a little tablecloth, tea pot with thimbles as small drinking cups. Simply adorable and a heirloom in the making!
