Flensted Cyclephants Mobile

The modern mobile was created in 1954 by Christian Flensted and his wife Grethe. The family business is still based in Denmark, on the island of Funen where Hans Christian Anderson was born.

Flensted Mobiles are created so that the elements are in constant motion while the entire mobile maintains a harmonic balance. Each mobile is carefully assembled, and balanced by skillful hands by artisans from their own homes and then collectedly twice a month by the company car. This practice has been in use for more than 30 years in which the process allows employees to work from home and leave less carbon footprint on the planet.

Who said elephants can't fly? This delightful mobile feature four little cheeky elephants on their bikes, clearly having lots of fund. Made from durable cardboard and with a vintage feel to the design, this would make an excellent new baby, christening or general baby gift.

A part of the profit from all sales of Cyclephants is donated to “Save the Children".
